Bengaluru city in Karnataka state of India has got plenty to offer to all heritage enthusiasts. On Sunday 2nd September, 2018 I visited a 1200 year old Hindu temple in the midst of the city popularly known as Halasuru Someshwara temple.img_20180902_0910132-effects

When I stepped into the temple premises I was wonder struck with its  rich history and carvings of divinities.

Forty eight stone pillars  with full of beautiful carvings hold this temple erect. Not only that here Hindu Trinities, Lord Brahma and lord Vishnu can be worshiped along with lord Shiva. This feature adds to uniqueness of this ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva,Someshwara.img_20180902_091826

One more amazing feature of this temple is that Prime Ministers of Canada and United Kingdom visited the temple barefoot and prayed.
